HEY.

i was just ranting on why ntu refused to send me a letter ytd to jasmine and theresa.
and as of yesterday 11pm, i realised that im not interested in doing accounts actually and i rather do materials engineering.

lo and behold,
i receive a letter from ntu today~
telling me that i am accepted into materials engineering.
is that a sign or what.

i told zhuangs that she has a roommate.
and she sounded happier den me la!!! crazy woman!
but i haven come to terms with that fact that i am actually accepted. despite lacking in the physics department.

and i cant seem to load they kiss again! >.<
upset okay!!!

yay but i am happy!
like the secretly happy kind.
but i really wonder if i can excel in it.
hmmm.

and YAY!!!!!

oh did i mention that my sister spoilt kip's psp and her own psp?
long story.
just ask me when you see me and i will tell you.

okay this is random but i just wna say..
one fine sunday, kip was getting ready to book in and we went to kfc for dinner.
where alot of pretty girls with their botak bf are eating their dinner there too.

Me: I feel ugly.
Kip: *munching his chicken thigh happily and ignoring me*
Me: I feel ugly.
Kip: *munches happily and refused to look away from the freaking chicken thigh*
Me: Why are you not replying. *makes ugly face*
Kip: *finally looks up* I dont care.
Me: *sulk* Cuz i ugly right

its good news day apparently.

good news no.1:
kiphoe got gold for ippt = he is $200 richer!
good news no.2:
i went to job agency with joy and i got a job!
without even gg tru interviews.
good news no.3:
this i really the most unexpected one.
i received an acceptance letter from SMU into their school of informations systems management!!
yes just when i tot i screwed up.

and i just went for the interview like 1 week ago.
they are really fast.

so now, i have a job.
an university wants me.
and my bf's richer.

i think tomorrow will be a bad bad day..
cuz today's too good to be true.

went for SMU interview today.
it was a long long long interview. about 2hrs 30 minutes. and its a group interview.
it is the first time i been to a group interview. and i think it will be one of the last.
as once again i think i screwed it up by being overly frank and totally forgot about politically correct answers.

unless of course SMU loves my frankness and my attitude to work and computer that they miraculously accepts me.
haa.

and i think i cant get into account and business
whee.

but i dont mind doing a course that is totally different from what i planned my life to be.
i mean information systems management sounds really interesting.
and its like dealing with my favourite inanimate object in the world - computers!
my only reservation is that i am using a mac. how am i suppose to program in mac???

oh i think i should not think about that problem even, cuz its not even confirm that i can make it in.
also the people in my group speaks quite well and their answers sounds better than mine.
the Dean interviewing me seems to not like me. haha. keep shooting questions at me.
blah.

but i guess im over it after a filling dinner of brats and shopping at made with love and buying 3 papers!

oh well i hope the other unis will call me.
it doesnt matter even if its not accounts or business.
i dont mind doing information systems management.
i dont mind doing materials and science engineering.
i dont mind even doing arts and social science.

i just need some school to accept me.

to stop all these stress that seem to float around my head.

anyways i watched becoming jane
its a really nice show. haha. if you read pride and prejudice of cuz.
i could see how she made the people around her into caricatures in her novel. haha
and i teared a little at the end when she and her lover decided not to elope.
wa the lover is goodlooking okay!!!

and i am currently watching they kiss again.
wa. i think zhi shu is a very very sweet character!!!

and very very hot too!!!

and poor mu and des have officially joined the army.
to protect and defend our nation.
what a noble thought.
just that i cant imagine them .. ya actually defending singapore. bleah.

not that its very very nice. tho its like really nice.

i realised that i have forgotten how it feels like to like someone, who likes some one else alrdy/ does not like me back/ doesnt know that i exist.

honestly, i think i kind of miss it.
haha its the bitter-sweet memories that i miss actually.

things that i dont do now.
or rather all the once sweet gestures are "for granted".

i feel rather empty emotionally.
that im missing out sometimes.

but most of the time im happy.

just went for a family chalet on sunday.
it was my cousin's birthday party.
and guess what. she's only twelve!
yes she's twelve and she gets to celebrate her birthday in style. plus she can invite her friends over!

ohmygoodness im so envious okay.
in nineteen years of my sad little life, i never had a birthday party at a chalet before!
neither do i have the privilege to invite my friends over on my birthday 'parties'.

ya and the twelve yr olds are noisy okay. and they are all puny.
bleah. i wonder where did all the sound and stamina to make noise come from man.

but it was a great time anyways.
my cousin received a cool monpoly from my aunt aka her godmother.
there is no cash in the set. only a mini cashier like machine and 8 cashcard like cards.
so basically, technology has taken over the world of monopoly and now..
monopoly has abolished the use of cold hard cash..
by implementing the very inefficient method of cash cards.

yes i agree its a cool idea. however, it causes great inconvenience.
as they are cards. so lets imagine this scenario. person A and person B are playing.
person A lands on person B's property.
person A has to pay rent. hence money has to be deducted from card.
person B will receive the rent. person B cannot receive the money directly from person A.
instead person B has to add the money into the card in order to receive the rent.

note, this is only one transaction.
after a while.. it gets more and more confusing. esp when theres alot of people playing.
it gets annoying after awhile. esp when someone deducted the amount wrongly from the card.
they have to add back the amount den deduct again.

also, we would not know how much money we have left unless we slot our cards into the mini cashier to check. grr.

bottomline: the new method of playing monopoly reduces the enjoyment as it creates confusion.
there is also a lack of interaction with money, thus reducing the thrill of playing it.
however it is good for people who constantly misplace the paper money in monopoly.
theres no fear of losing them now!

okay. i forgot what was my main point but ya.

anyways. i went to watch movie/shopping/gelare half price/genting bus fare hunting today with wanhsin.
LOL yes i know we did alot of things today ya.
and digress alot too.
and we walked till our feet ache.

and we finally went to HAJI LANE!!
yes call me xua ku la.

anyways the shops there are damn cool la.
and the prices there also veh 'nice'
the clothes are pretty but not very affordable. =(
but its worth the experience i suppose.

and we went to golden mile complex to search for the cheapest rates to genting!
and ya the place smells funny and looks dodgy.
and we spent a super short time there.
yay but we got what we needed. so i suppose we just have to persuade flo and fiona to go! (:
and try to book by friday. haha

oh well its time for me to watch my shows again!
